1. Se (the Sodium selenite is a source of selen) 25 µg
2. Vitamin C 50 mg
3. Subsidiary elements: Sorbit; Mg stearate; Aerozil; Na gluconate; Vivastar (microcellulosis).
The selen and vitamin C are synergists and antioxidants preventing or at least delaying the ageing process and the hardening of the tissues due to oxidation. Men have larger need of selenium. Almost half of its quantity in the organism is concentrated in the testicles and the parts of the seed channels neighbouring the prostate gland. The selen is lost with the sperm, too. The recommended dose is 50 mkg for women and 70 mkg for men.
Positive effects:
It helps for keeping the elasticity, typical for the younger age. It relieves the hot waves and the discomfort due to the meno-pause. It heals and protects from dandruff. It probably neutralizes some cancerogenes and protects against certain types of cancer.
